Mazda Production and Sales Results for March 2015 and for April 2014 through March 2015 (Flash Report)
Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for March 2015 and for April 2014 through March 2015 are summarized below.
I. Production
Note: As of January 2007, overseas production figures are based on Mazda brand units coming off the production line (does not include CKD units).
1. Domestic Production (1) March 2015 Mazda's total production volume in March 2015 decreased 0.9% compared to March 2014 due to decreased production of commercial and passenger vehicles.

(2) April 2014 through March 2015 Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April 2014 through March 2015 decreased 5.5% year-on-year due to decreased production of passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production (1) March 2015 Mazda's overseas production volume in March 2015 increased 60.4% compared to March 2014, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

(2) April 2014 through March 2015 Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from April 2014 through March 2015 increased 53.5% year-on-year, due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
(1) March 2015 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in March 2015 increased 0.9% compared to March 2014 due to increased sales of passenger vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.6% (up 1.4 points year-on-year), with a 2.6% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 5.0% total market share (up 0.6 points year-on-year).

(2) April 2014 through March 2015 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April 2014 through March 2015 decreased 7.8% year-on-year, due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.5% (up 0.2 points year-on-year), with a 2.4% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 4.2% total market share (down 0.1 points year-on-year).

III. Exports
(1) March 2015 Mazda's export volume in March 2015 decreased 12.4% compared to March 2014 due to decreased shipments to North America, Europe, Oceania and other regions.
